TERMS OF SERVICE

1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

By accessing or using Priv Wallet ("Service," "Wallet," "Application"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

IMPORTANT: These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement. By using Priv Wallet, you accept full responsibility for your digital assets and transactions.

2. SERVICE DESCRIPTION

Priv Wallet is a non-custodial, decentralized cryptocurrency wallet that provides:

• Privacy Pool: Anonymous deposits and withdrawals with zero-knowledge proofs
• Trail Eraser: Multi-hop transaction mixing for enhanced privacy
• Stealth Addresses: One-time addresses for private payments
• Dark Pool: Anonymous trading with encrypted orders
• Compliance Bridge: Voluntary proof-of-innocence for regulatory compliance

3. NON-CUSTODIAL WALLET

You are solely responsible for your digital assets.

• We do NOT store, have access to, or control your private keys or seed phrases
• We CANNOT recover lost passwords, seed phrases, or private keys
• We CANNOT reverse, cancel, or refund transactions
• We CANNOT freeze or seize your funds
• You are responsible for securing your backup seed phrase

WARNING: Loss of your seed phrase means permanent loss of access to your funds. We cannot help you recover them.

4. USER RESPONSIBILITIES

By using Priv Wallet, you agree to:

• Maintain the security of your seed phrase, private keys, and passwords
• Use the Service in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
• Not use the Service for illegal activities, money laundering, or terrorist financing
• Verify transaction details before confirming (transactions are irreversible)
• Understand the risks of cryptocurrency trading and DeFi protocols
• Be solely responsible for tax reporting and compliance in your jurisdiction

5. PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES

You may NOT use Priv Wallet to:

• Engage in illegal activities or violate any laws
• Launder money or finance terrorism
• Transact with sanctioned individuals or entities
• Violate intellectual property rights
• Attempt to exploit, hack, or disrupt the Service
• Use the Service if you are under 18 years of age
• Impersonate others or provide false information

6. RISKS & DISCLAIMERS

Cryptocurrency involves significant risks. You acknowledge and accept:

• Volatility: Cryptocurrency values can fluctuate dramatically
• Irreversibility: Blockchain transactions cannot be reversed or canceled
• Smart Contract Risk: Bugs or exploits in smart contracts may result in loss of funds
• Network Risk: Blockchain networks may experience congestion, forks, or failures
• Regulatory Risk: Cryptocurrency regulations may change without notice
• Privacy Limitations: While we enhance privacy, blockchain data is inherently public

7. NO WARRANTY

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT:

• The Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
• Results obtained from the Service will be accurate or reliable
• Any errors or defects will be corrected
• The Service will meet your requirements

8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

• We are NOT liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• We are NOT liable for loss of profits, revenue, data, or digital assets
• Our total liability shall not exceed $100 USD or the equivalent in cryptocurrency
• You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims arising from your use of the Service

9. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

Priv Wallet may integrate with third-party services (RPC providers, DEXs, DeFi protocols). We are not responsible for:

• Availability, accuracy, or security of third-party services
• Actions or omissions of third-party service providers
• Loss of funds due to third-party vulnerabilities or failures

10. FEES

Priv Wallet may charge fees for certain privacy features:

• Privacy Pool: Network fees for deposits/withdrawals
• Trail Eraser: Per-hop mixing fees
• Dark Pool: Trading fees as disclosed in the interface

Additionally, blockchain network fees (gas) apply to all transactions. Fees are subject to change with notice.

11. PRIVACY FEATURES & COMPLIANCE

While Priv Wallet enhances privacy, you acknowledge:

• Privacy features do not guarantee absolute anonymity
• You remain responsible for compliance with applicable laws
• Using privacy features for illegal purposes is strictly prohibited
• Voluntary compliance tools are available but not mandatory
• We may cooperate with law enforcement when legally required

12. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

Priv Wallet is open-source software licensed under the MIT License. While the code is publicly available:

• The Priv Wallet name and branding are our trademarks
• You may not misrepresent your association with Priv Wallet
• Derivative works must comply with the MIT License terms

13. TERMINATION

You may stop using the Service at any time. Since Priv Wallet is non-custodial:

• Your funds remain accessible via your seed phrase
• You can migrate to any compatible wallet
• We cannot terminate your access to blockchain-stored assets

We reserve the right to discontinue the Service with reasonable notice.

14. GOVERNING LAW & DISPUTES

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which you reside, without regard to conflict of law provisions.

Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with applicable arbitration rules, except where prohibited by law.

15. CHANGES TO TERMS

We may update these Terms by posting revised terms with a new "Last Updated" date. Material changes will be announced through our official channels.

Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

16. SEVERABILITY

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
