PRIVACY POLICY

Last Updated: November 15, 2025

1. INTRODUCTION

Priv Wallet ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our decentralized, non-custodial wallet service.

Core Principle: Priv Wallet is designed for privacy. We do not collect, store, or have access to your private keys, seed phrases, or transaction details. You maintain complete control over your digital assets.

2. WHAT WE DON'T COLLECT

Unlike traditional financial services, we do not collect:

  • Private keys or seed phrases
  • Transaction history or wallet balances
  • Personal identification information (name, email, phone number)
  • IP addresses or device identifiers
  • Geolocation data
  • Biometric data

3. ON-CHAIN DATA

Priv Wallet interacts with public blockchain networks (Solana and others). All transactions are recorded on-chain and are publicly accessible. However:

  • Zero-Knowledge Proofs: Our privacy pool and mixing services use ZK proofs to obscure transaction details while maintaining verifiability
  • Stealth Addresses: Payments can be received through one-time addresses that break on-chain linkability
  • Encrypted Audit Data: Compliance data is encrypted and only accessible to authorized auditors with proper decryption keys

4. TECHNICAL INFORMATION

For basic functionality and security, we may collect minimal technical data:

  • Website Analytics: Anonymized usage statistics for our landing page (not wallet interface)
  • Error Reports: Anonymous crash reports to improve software stability (no personal data included)

This data is aggregated, anonymized, and cannot be linked to individual users or wallets.

5. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

Priv Wallet integrates with third-party services for certain features:

  • RPC Providers: Blockchain node access (queries are not logged or associated with your identity)
  • IPFS/Decentralized Storage: For storing encrypted wallet metadata

We select providers with strong privacy practices. We are not responsible for third-party data handling.

6. COMPLIANCE & AUDITING

Our compliance bridge allows users to voluntarily submit proof-of-innocence for regulatory purposes:

  • Audit data is encrypted with auditor public keys
  • Only registered auditors can access encrypted compliance data
  • Submission of compliance data is entirely voluntary
  • Compliance features can be disabled by users

7. DATA SECURITY

Security measures include:

  • Client-side encryption for all sensitive operations
  • No server-side storage of private keys or seed phrases
  • Open-source code for community security audits
  • Regular security audits by third-party firms

8. YOUR RIGHTS (GDPR/CCPA)

Under GDPR, CCPA, and similar regulations, you have rights regarding personal data. However, since we don't collect personal data:

  • Right to Access: No personal data is stored to access
  • Right to Deletion: No personal data is stored to delete
  • Right to Portability: Your wallet data is locally stored and fully portable
  • Right to Non-Discrimination: All features are available to all users equally

9. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

Priv Wallet is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

10. INTERNATIONAL USERS

Priv Wallet is accessible globally. Blockchain data is distributed across international networks. By using our service, you acknowledge that blockchain transactions are inherently cross-border.

11. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. Updates will be posted here with a new "Last Updated" date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
